LECTURER (2008 - 2009)


     Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio


Taught several undergraduate level introduction to acting courses geared for non-majors and minors of the department. Directed Medea, one of the department’s main stage productions. Mentored individual students.


RESIDENT PROFESSIONAL TEACHING ASSOCIATE  (1998 - 2000 & Fall of 2007)


     Cornell University, Ithaca New York


Taught an introduction to acting course, required by all majors but open to non-majors.
A hands–on introduction to beginning acting process which culminated in the performance of a selected scene. Led workshops open to majors and non-majors in Suzuki Movement technique, auditioning, scansion, and a Q and A on the business of acting. Directed a black box production of Miss Julie. Acted in several student films and mentored young film-makers through the process of working with actors.


PRODUCTION STAGE MANAGER for OPERA DEPARTMENT  (1996 - 1997)


     Juilliard School, New York


Faculty/Staff position. Act as production stage manager for all department productions and presentations. Mentor and evaluate student Assistant Stage Managers as part of their internship experience. Coordinate with the Drama and Music departments and the production department for institution wide events. Hire and coordinate outside talent as needed.


RESIDENT STAGE MANAGER  (1995 - 1996)


     Manhattan School of Music, New York


Act as stage manager for Opera department’s main-stage public performances. Mentor and evaluate student assistants. Coordinate all aspects of production with in-house production department and outside resource providers.


MFA CANDIDATE LECTURER  (1993)


Taught a semester of a Speech Class open to majors and non-majors. Utilized the Skinner method and materials. Introduced the phonetic alphabet and Standard American pronunciation.
